Royal Mail boss to break cover after 'going missing' for 31 days during postal strike

Looks like he'll be on the Andrew Marr show this Sunday. Perhaps it's taken him this long to concoct a special kind of propaganda? Anyway, whatever the reason might be for this long awaited re-appearance, we'll get some tough questioning put to him to answer, maybe?

Matthew Elliott, chief executive of campaigning group the TaxPayers’ Alliance, said: “Adam Crozier earns a fortune for running Royal Mail, and he should be explaining publicly what has gone wrong.

“Instead, he seems to be going missing and hiding from public scrutiny. This is unacceptable - he should be in the public eye apologising for this crisis and explaining whether the service will be restored in time for Christmas.”

Evidence is mounting that Royal Mail is losing the PR battle and failing to win over the public’s opinion in the bitter strike. A poll for the BBC’s Newsnight programme found twice as many people sympathise with the postal workers as Royal Mail’s.
