Has anyone one seen this wee video http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newsvid ... 4648768001" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; The very last line of it did make me think. If according to Royal Mail that volumes are declining and less people are using our service. How come even the speculation of a strike is whipping companies and the media into a frenzy? Perhaps companies depend on us a lot more than they would like to show. If the competition is so good, then why does it take talk of strike action before companies threaten to move their business elsewhere? Surely if the competition was so good they would of moved their business from Royal Mail a long time ago?
I personally think we're the best in the business. Perhaps TNT, DHL etc will give us a run for our money. However I doubt they will EVER replace us. Even with their cherry picking.
