Seven fraud probe arrests at Royal Mail Call Centre

SEVEN people arrested as part of an investigation into allegations of fraud have been bailed by police.

Staffordshire Police visited Royal Mail's customer call centre in Media Way, Etruria, after being contacted by the company. Officers arrested a 31-year-old male employee from Stoke-on-Trent on suspicion of conspiring to defraud Royal Mail.

A force spokesman said: "Officers then went on to arrest a further six people – four men and two women – from addresses across the city on the same charge."

All those arrested have now been bailed, pending further inquiries, until January.
