Massive yes vote for national strike

Postal workers have voted by a massive 76 percent for national strike action. The scale of the yes vote, and the high turnout of 67 percent, will send a tremor through Royal Mail bosses.
Now activists in the CWU union are urging their leadership to call hard-hitting action as soon as possible.
“The rank and file of this union are seething—and the size of the vote shows it,” says Paul Turnbull, a senior union rep in Cambridgeshire.
“Weeks of local strike action have built up an enormous backlog of work. We must not waste the advantage we’ve created. There must be prolonged action, of at least 48 hours, and it must be called immediately.
“Any talk of a moratorium on strikes while talks with Royal Mail and Labour ministers continue must be blown out of the water.
“Quite simply, there’s too much at stake for us not to use our power.”
The CWU’s postal executive is to meet on Monday to discuss what action to take.
Postal workers should text their executive members to urge them to call action.

Let's hope they've learned from the last debacle when they encouraged a return to work.

There is not that many people out there that can ruin a publicly owned company for it’s customers and it’s employees whilst asserting “Modernisation.” So where is the progress the word “Modernisation” suggest. Was it not your “modernising” the FA that put its finances in the S**t! Clearly you have a God Complex that knows no compromise and you have got the whole thing wrong once again. I am by far the first person asking you to resign but for the good of the employees and customers alike I ask you to do it sooner than later.
