NOTICE SERVED ON BALLOT

Notice has been served on RM and ballot timetable is as follows

Papers Dispatched 17th Sep

Result 8th Oct

Reason for extended timetable is due to ongoing strikes / backlogs RM may have been able to legally challenge the ballot. The extension gives time for papers to go out and return in good time.

Talks went ok Yesterday and RM are back around the table - the 1st time they have ever talked to the CWU whilst the action is taking place. The Units / Areas that have taken action should be proud of themselves.

Dont trust RM. Meaningful talks in 2007 and then they pulled away from the table.
