New London strike dates

Please find below Londons next two strike dates.

Our VOCs and RDCs will be out on stirke Thursday 27th August along with all the other vocs in the country. (24hours )

our mail centres , distribution hubs , LAMU and EC deliveries will be out on strike on Friday 28th August (24 hours )

All London delivery units will be out on strike on Saturday 29th August (24 hours )

Mount Pleaeant , EC deliveries and Lamu will be out on strike action on Tuesday 1st September for 24 hours

Our Vocs and RDCs will be out on strike action along with other national vocs on Wednesday 3rd September for 24 hours.

All London delivery offices , distribution hubs and East London and South London mail centres will be out on strike action on Thursday 3rd September for 24 hours. On this day we will have a demo outside of UNITE! to ask their union to stop their members doing our work whilst we are taking official action. Plus we have a rally at central hall which is open to all members and I know a coach load from Peterborugh will be coming to that as wel. We will have national speakers there as well.

does anyone know when the next ones are for london as i heard they are sat 29 aug and tues 1sept day after the bank holiday but i read on a different post it was thursday 3sept :mfo

29th aug and 2nd sept. for delivery I think.

We were asked this morning if we wanted to take next Saturday as the next strike date, overwhelming 'Yes', will be confirmed tomorrow.

For Delivery staff it is Saturday 29th August and Thursday 3rd September.

I shall expect matey the non striker from London to show up in my D.O then. :shock:

Every time London go out he turns up at my D.O. :no no

Oh where oh where will he go when the dispute goes national? :hmmmm

Such dilema of which picket line to cross his D.O or mine? :left:

Pour soul must be dreading the day we can all stand together. :nervous

Our managers love Saturday strikes as only SG items have to be delivered and they have an easy day. Im in the RLE and they just leave it for us until the next delivery day..

We were due to have round the clock meetings on Thursday with a London Divisional Rep.
Management have told the Union that we can't have meetings in the MC - first time this
has ever happened. They must be worried about how well the strikes have been supported,
despite their vindictive and punitive response.
We will be having meetings in the car park for the early shift, and in the Church Hall nearby
for the middle, late and night shifts instead. :cfo
