A man has been arrested after a Royal Mail post van was stolen on Teesside.
The red Transit van was taken from outside shops on Birchington Avenue in Grangetown on Saturday afternoon.
It was found abandoned half an hour later at Pallister Court in Middlesbrough. Some of its contents were missing.
A 32-year-old Middlesbrough man was arrested. Police appealed for anyone who saw the van in Grangetown or Middlesbrough to get in touch.
