TO have expected the postman or lady to maintain an average walking pace of four miles per hour would have speeded up deliveries, but it would not have left any time for the postie to ask ‘Do you know if Mr and Mrs six doors down have moved away’ or ‘How are you today Mr and Mrs Customer.’ Always a cheerful greeting no matter the weather.
How pleasing it is to see how smart they look when they wear their uniform.
