If it's reliably claimed that there's a population of 9,250 within one mile then the Post Office should surely have had a decent chance of remaining open.

Once reserved power is transfered to Scotland its only a matter of time before Scotland becomes an Independent Country breaking up the Union, Postal service is a national issue not a local one.
