Royal Mail has warned residents across Basingstoke that postal deliveries may be disrupted due to staffing issues at the town's delivery office.
People living in parts of the RG21, RG22, RG23, RG24, RG25, RG26 and RG28 postcode areas could experience delays to their mail while the issue continues.
The postcode areas cover Basingstoke and a number of surrounding villages, meaning tens of thousands of residents could be affected by the disruption.
Royal Mail has not indicated how long the disruption is expected to last but said it will provide an update when the resourcing issues have improved.
Royal Mail said: "Due to resourcing issues at the Basingstoke Delivery Office, we're sorry to advise that you may experience further disruption to deliveries in parts of the RG21-RG26 and RG28 postcode areas.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.
"We'll be back in touch to inform you when the resourcing issues have improved."
