RESIDENTS living near a GP surgery have requested a new post box for the area.
People living near Axbridge Surgery in Houlgate Way have written to the town council requesting a new facility.
Mayor Kate Browne said: "A number of people at that end of town have difficulty getting to the other post boxes and most of them use the doctor's surgery quite regularly.
"The town council will approach Royal Mail on their behalf to see if a new post box can be installed.
"As the postman has to deliver to the surgery anyway, I cannot foresee it being a problem.
