A man has appeared in court charged with theft and perverting the course of justice after a report of an armed robbery at a Hampshire post office.
Police were told the Boxalls Lane branch in Aldershot had been targeted on Tuesday.
Shyam Raval, 23, from Farnham, who is also a Post Office employee, appeared before magistrates on Saturday.
Two women arrested on Tuesday have been bailed while the inquiry by the serious and organised crime unit continues.
