An overturned lorry at Switch Island is causing traffic problems on the M58 and surrounding roads.
Merseyside Police rushed to Switch Island, Aintree, at around 6.21pm on Friday, July 29., following reports of a crash. Once at the scene officers found a lorry had overturned.
The North West Ambulance Service and Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were also at Switch Island. The AA Traffic map is showing long queues on the M58 westbound and Broom's Cross Road.
22:55A Nobody believed to be injured
In a recent update, Merseyside Police have said nobody is belived to have been injured in the crash. The A59 westbound is still parcially closed following the incident.
