A KNIFE-WIELDING yob was being hunted by police yesterday after he held up a sub post office in broad daylight and escaped with hundreds of pounds.
The robber, who wore a paper boilersuit with a mask over his mouth, terrified a woman behind the counter before grabbing cash and fleeing the scene on foot.
Within minutes police patrol cars toured streets surrounding the scene of the robbery in Paisley’s East End and at one stage the police helicopter was called in to scan the area from the air.
Last night a police spokesman appealed for witnesses, adding: “Someone must have noticed a man wearing a paper-type boilersuit. If you did let us know.â€
