Drivers at Royal Mail sorting offices could walk out if staff do not get their new pay rises.
Some staff at offices across the North West, including Pittman Way, Fulwood, Preston, have been told the necessary information may not have been inputted in time for pay day.
The pay rise was agreed after European laws cut the number of hours a week that drivers could work.
Union officials are now working to try and resolve the issue with management.
