KA Units
Irvine DO, Kilmarnock DO. Kilwinning DO. Ayr DO have served notice of strike action 10pm Thursday 17th to 10pm Friday 18th September.
Members had previously agreed to delay action until the National Ballot result however in reaction to Executive action by RM to remove 4 day weeks, alter start and finish times and imposed duty revisions which relegate senior members to leave and "sector" reserves, members have asked to take further strike action.
Further bullying over 30 minutes compulsory overtime sealed the decision.
We will not be pushed around and if we don't stand up for ourselves who will.

Edinburgh mail centre & distribution on strike this Thursday from 4am til 4am Friday, pickets will be at the gates all day & we don't expect anybody to go through either to pick up mail or drop of collection. managers started briefing staff at the d`o`s on Monday telling them if they did`nt cross the picket line they would be taken off pay so they are aware we will be stopping all vans and asking them to support our strike by not crossing the picket line. god help anybody who tries :no no :no no :no no

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
