The problem with unofficial action is how smaller units see it. Large offices can get away with it but I know for a fact that you won't get the lads in my office (of about 30) out for unofficial action. So many unemployed around here as it is, they fear for their jobs and rightfully so. Good luck to any offices that are going to take action tomorrow but I think it's better to sit this one out, personally.
Yes, it's frustrating but let's not all jump to conclusions just yet. So little info for us to go on at present. Let's not waste all the work we've done so far.

Says on Channel 4 News that the talks are still continuing.
We can turn todays court decision into a positive.
1. It shows how desperate RM have become if they needed to fine pick the CWU strike mandate.
2. Gives us posties a chance to recover from RM's evil wage deductions and prepare for the next round of strikes.
We need to hold steadfast, support the Union to do the right thing and defeat AL/AC TOGETHER - officially.

Belial laughable indeed but on a more serious note that is what I would suspect Crozier & Co to do next in the High Court - look to have our union funds sequestrated probably for non compliance of High Court ruling and just heard breaking news that looks as if imminent agreement between RM and CWU highly likely CWU to make a statement.BELIAL wrote:NEWS FLASH; Judge orders dress code for all pickets,
in order to reduce possible levels of intimidation at picket lines all participants must comply with a mandatory dress code ie Bermuda shorts and flip flops in pastel shades only.
Failure of any individual to comply will result in the immediate sequestration of all union funds.

Same here mate. People are already slating the union and don`t even know what the agreement (if there is one) is yet.disheartened wrote:I am all for official IA and have indeed been out on all eight days and stood on the picket line and will abide by any more official days of official IA,but i am not going out on unofficial IA...........I may loose friends at my office and may get a slating on here, but thats the way it is.tatt wrote:Usually I think it is better not to take unofficial action, but on monday i think we should all send a message to Leighton, Crozier, Brown and the wiggy c"*t who outlawed the strike, that they can go f^*k themselves and strike anyway.
