I agree they did very well. Just watched the main BBC news and they showed hardly anything of the press conference and just showed the usual reports they always do.

We all have known that MANDELSON is a corrupt and decadent soul and when his inheritance (royalmail) is taken from him he will throw his toys out of the pram!.

Trying to be inpartial,What a great Performance by Dave Ward ,this was natrual all the way both in terms of content and delivery great!
Billy Hayes not such a good performance as Dave, but not bad put a number of points across well ,liked Billys Hayes answer to reporters ,for members of the Public tomorrow to ask their own Postie what the dispute is about.

Look forward to tomorrow headlines at least to unpopular charachters mandelsion and Crozier are going to have to do lots of explaining.

You've just made a couple of guys here laugh their heads off. They have been asked if they would like to earn some extra pay on saturday carrying out some overtime duties. They said that if I piss in the water coolers on the first floor they will make me their leader. One of them said that they would get a tatoo of my name on their arm if I did.
So, at work, or proport to be, come out with garbage like this during work time & then tomorrow you are on strike. What great representation you are for the working public.

Hope you sink!
I don't work for royal mail. I contract myself to a company that carries out work for various companies. I myself am self employed. And before you ask...no I will not cross any picket lines, if anything I will sit outside with the postmen and postwomen and if it's raining they can sit inside my nice new mercedes sprinter with the heater on full, I might even make an extra flask of coffee as well just in case they want a hot drink but they will have to bring their own biscuits.
As for you and your opinion....I feel sorry for you as you must have a very sad life.

I was always led to beleive that a Labour Government were the champions of the working class, what happened?, they are worse than the Torys, the lies and deceit, and another thing this mob have certainly got the BBC in their pocket their coverage of the unfolding events are a little subdued to say the least,I wish someone would get hold of Mandleson and Crozier and give em a dam'n good banjo-ing

particularly liked the point from billy, that modernisation under this regime would actually amount to regression, because everybody will be getting their mail later!

I think its desperation Gordon Brown is desperate to get him self elected AT ANY cost which includes alienating the very people that have voted Labour for most of thier lives well **ck him I am very tempted to vote Tory next summer but I know my Dad would turn in his grave if I did.
I'd rather have Lockheed deliver the mail than ride around in a plane built by the post office
