Ours shuts at 7.30pm during the week. People shouldn't have to wait 24 hours in this situation.

But I do think the opening hours of callers offices around the country needs looking at especially on Saturdays. Some of the smaller offices near to us do not even open on Saturday ours shuts at 12.30pm.

Royal Mail need to introduce a "Special Delivery" type service for non valuable items that guarantees the items gets there next day but without a signature.

We do already provide something similar with the Queens Telegrams but this doesn't seem to be available for th public or business.

Yup - and for low value items. We'd get far more ebay business if we did that. Its nuts sending a 20p item that costs £2-£4 to post it.
