Alan Johnson - Ex Union Leader of Postal Workers also an ex-postie and rep - but not exactly fully supportive of the current Union/Labour Link.janitor wrote:We need a party with real working people in it, not professional politicians and not just lawyers and barristers.people who have done a hard days graft.

Fellow Labour MP Alan Johnson said it was a "new type of politics after the expenses scandal", and Ed Miliband understood the need for a new settlement with unions.

Think you will find Alan Johnson has retired from front line politics, and he didn't jump to the posties defences when mandleson wanted to privatise us back then. I think billy hopes to join Alan Johnson on the parliamentary gravey train, which is why he is so against cutting the political levy. You could have used Denis skinner as a working class labour mp.

Still odds on favourites to claim the most seats with every single bookie in the country.DavidUK wrote:Let's be honest, Labour have virtually no chance whatsoever of winning the next election.
Something you know that the bookies don't?
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

If Tories are 5% chance of majority then they would be a 20/1 chance and not 11/4 for majority and if labour are 76% chance of majority they would be odds on and not 6/4.

I cancelled my political levy via the Snp website .... I truly despise Labour and this is a guy that comes from a long line of miners .... myself being the first non miner in my family .... the Labour party turned their back on socialism in the early 1990s and they will never return as they are all university educated ....they wouldn't know the first thing about a hard days work

They love the working class, that's why they flooded the country with immigrants prepared to work for peanuts, and drive down wages and opportunity for the working class...
