HaHa The Telegraph has the easiest cryptic crossword of any of the ,cough ,quality newspapers mainly because it has so many Tim-nice-but-dim types in the readership so they can't make it too demanding

Here's one clue that I need to find the missing letters for:

11.across) Italian crossed with a Swede in Kenya perhaps makes correct hypocrisy, found in paper ? (5,4)

I have these letters so far R-GHT / C-NT

I'm struggling with this one a bit :Very Happy

Is she going to write an "article" about the lazy slow-moving marine who couldn't complete a post round in the allotted time?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Moya Greene rebuttal

Moya Greene has posted a response on the Telegraph’s website to criticism of our service from one of the newspaper’s bloggers.

The original Telegraph piece, written by Cristina Odone, was entitled: ‘Royal Mail’s lazy, slow-moving postmen have enjoyed a monopoly long enough. Time to bring on TNT!’

Justly proud
Moya says she takes ‘great issue’ with many of the points expressed by Ms Odone about our business, and about us, its employees.

‘Royal Mail is at the heart of every community in the UK. We are justly proud of the hard work undertaken by our postmen and women to deliver to the UK’s 29 million addresses, six days a week.

‘They deliver no matter what the weather and however remote the household,’ she says.

‘I simply don’t recognise the picture Ms Odone paints of Royal Mail.

‘It is far from the reality that I have seen, and that has been the subject of widespread positive commentary, across the media.

‘Having looked at comments left by other readers of Ms Odone’s column, I’m pleased to see that the majority appear to agree with me.’

Reducing costs
Moya says: ‘The truth is we are part way through a major programme of modernisation to reduce costs, improve delivery of packets and parcels and further increase efficiency.

‘We have changed the starting times for postmen and women, lengthened their working hours, rationalised mail centres and many dedicated people have had to leave the business.’

Highest standards
She adds: ‘Over the past decade, we have seen 50,000 of our people leave the company.

‘Just last year we lost 5,400 jobs, including 2,000 managers. This is a hard, tough change.

‘Nevertheless, we continue to deliver against some of the highest minimum standards of service in the world.’
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
