'Our people'? Who are they referring to? They keep using this term, and I have no idea who or what they mean by it. I can only assume they mean the brainwashed office boys who somehow imagine they are 'managers'.
Oh no! This includes those pillocksa who start early without pay, use the car as a mobile drop box, have a mobile phone they carry around to be contacted on, jump to the sound of ghost docket and belong to that "circle of friends" who practically live at the office. Has anyone suggested bunk beds and sleeping bags.

When I started in the 90's we had a couple of blokes who would bring in z-beds over Christmas, so they could do a s**t load of docket - I kid you not

- this is just like 2003 , Activists is a late 80s / early 90's hostile to unions , term for anyone to the left of Mrs T. Sounds like ex BAE( Similar to RM, got teamworking in which the union opposed , strikes in the 80's etc} which I do know a bit about round here,Tony McAvoy and his arrogant we know best tone . sounds like a preference exercise for "their people " boys ?? .

This truly is the numpties' and nutters' site. Don't any of you realise that AL and AC have the CWU exactly where they want you to be?
Ah I see another of the brianwashed unwashed has gotten custody of the single managerial brain cell tonight.

Image

If :lfo :cfo had us exactly where they wanted us we'd all be part time and probably paying them for the privilege of coming to work...Of course the tugging of the forelock would most likely optional as it's the 21st century not some Dickensian workhouse...But then again the way managers seem to be going around trying to crack the whip coerce and generally bully people into doing things they know themselves isn't right....Amazing what some would do for a bag of silver coins...Perhaps there would be thirty amongst that.

I hear managers everyday singing the praises of a more flexible approach to working....Failing to grasp the reality of the fact that they too would be nailed to the floor under it and working the same if not worse conditions as ourselves as the spine extraction when the get their suits grafted on would prevent them from standing up and saying a simple "you know I don't think this will work"

The two A's as in a-holes, failed to crack the union before and the resounding support of the recent IA should at least tell them something, they'll not get what they want without getting a fight...You see with the threat of losing a quarter of the workforce under them hanging over our heads what have we got to lose...

A couple of quotes I find fitting for what's going on.

"Better to die on your feet than live on your knees"

"Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it."
