Also what a fat cow that proofreader woman was, nightmare. Union area rep did a sterling job though.
Got to hand it to these people for having the balls to say what they think on camera, they really deserve admiration.

Amazon, some pills and some flats!!!! Must be a heavy day! :hmmmm :whistle

When people say they are in, the proofreader woman, they are normally doing one of three things when the can't answer the door!

A Sh*t, Sh*g or a Shower! :Very Happy

I was amused to see that Royal Mail agreed to the cameras going into the Gatwick office. Funnily enough that is where The Courier does all its reporting from. It seems to exist in a parallel universe where there are machines doing most of the work and there is a contented workforce. Certainly nothing like the Royal Mail offices most of us know and hate!

Coventry ? - that name sounds familiar , Postman's "favourite" site , should do some more proof reading :hmmmm :hmmmm - At the APC I suspected they'd find a tame one , probably non union , it's been known to get someone from upstairs and put them in uniform for spin , though I'm suspicious & cynical by nature

Respect to the guys

It did nothing to change my opinion that the whole upper tier of management would serve us better by dying in a hotel fire. What a smarmy lump of excrement Mr. Tolhurst is. On the whole I thought it addressed core issues fair-handedly although I'd like to have seen that ex-Marine chap struggling around with a real day-to-day bag of delights (lightbulbs anyone??) instead of lightweight flyers.
You do the work, they get the loot. The men with the smiles and the 3 piece suits.

Don't worry, we're all going to be issued with a 'Tommy the horse' to help us cope with 5 hour deliveries!!

So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Watched that with a smile, put our point of view across well. Love to see Tolhurst do that fellas round in 3.5 hours. Nice to know RM allow 8 packets per delivery. Add about 30 and they may be near the truth.
Must add my respect to the postie whos walk they showed, He stood tall hoping to expose some of the unfair demands being put on us and thanks to panorama it looks as though he has done it :Applause
