Also a lot of DO`s over this way are saying that if saturdays do go back to 5 am then mailsort is going back in to gaurantee people work their hrs..

Firstly, if I hadn`t received my ballot paper within a few days of my colleagues I`d have been asking questions of my union rather than waiting for the result to be announced.
Secondly I`m afraid a lot of those in RDCs and MCs would have looked at the agreement and shrugged saying "a lot of this doesn`t affect us just service delivery, so I`ll look after number 1, screw them".
Personally I voted NO not only because it`s a poor deal but also thinking ahead. If they close my place of work and my only option was to find another job that paid similar money or go on delivery then that is more than likely where I`d end up so it`s in my interest as well as my colleagues to protect that job and its conditions.

what are you on about we take mailsort every saturday anyway,are we being stitched and yes i would rather have extra time in bed,f**k getting up 4.20 on a saturday morning, i want my life back and 46.000 to lose there jobs,spineless twats.

I work in an RDC, and although at first there was a lot of people thinking that it didn't effect them. Eventually, most of them were forced to admit that it WOULD effect them after all. From what I could find out, the majority of my Collegues voted no.
