No more dumping of mail bags in gardens thanks to the News

I have done walks in most areas of our office we have drop boxes and no keys, drop boxes that want open
and the occasional one that works,
when is the p.o. going to realise that these boxes are the lifeline of a walk
and should be treated as such.They talk about saving money and being cost effective but they cant do the
things that make the job run smoothly, the problem is that most of them have either never done or could,nt
do a walk if there feckin life depended on it they cant even through a walk in have you ever checked a frame
for miss sorts after a so called manager has preped one you should it will make you laugh

van drivers should refuse to drop bags in unsecure places, also i'd like to know how many car drivers use thier boot as a bagbox.idiots.

Not to sure of the exact amount but weve got 60+ pouch boxes at our office Theres only 1 walk that does not have any and that was down to planing permission being refused.Reason why weve got so many,about 7 years ago we were a trial office for revisions and they could not get them in quick enough.Alot of local councils do take the piss though when it comes to how much they charge and they must even be a certain colour in some boroughs

Customers were being paid £30 a year to store bags of mail because postal workers
couldn't carry it all in one go.
