Well actually they do, cos every time they buy something,phone someone, flush the loo, turn on a light they are charged and built into that is the price of communications, it is a cost that is transmitted not absorbed.

Sure but how much of it matters anymore or hadn't you noticed the gradual creep of the internet age. Too many on here think we should be workingin the stone age.

Did you read my post yes I am an idealist but we are still making a profit now when providing a service is still a reason to have Royal Mail. I mean the profit side is really working well when the amount we get for each letter via DSA means we deliver them at a loss. Thats profit and market forces working is it.

Also you said you voted against the deal but Today all your posts appear to have been supporting it, have you changed your mind and you now think that deal is a good one.

And you think this magical internet age comes free? Hardware, systems,software design ,installation,maintenance operators inputters, data processing, storage, back up, insurance, security ;not to mention crashes,data corruption,incomplete customer uptake,fraud etc,etc.
It's not new technology it's been there for years. There are numerous reasons why companies have not switched but cost is the biggest.
You really have swallowed the RM bullshit hook line and sinker.
Try having an original independant thought, you might enjoy it

Lads, Lads dont rise to old night tonics bate he's winding you up. On one post he's saying it's a yes vote and only a job not a crusade. On another link he's saying we can still rise up against the pensions ,d to d's etc-. Seems to me he could do with a night tonic, might start to make more sense and stop contradicting himself.

some of what you say is true domestic mail is not like it used to be and we are not as popular as we once where but it does not mean we should be treated like shite taking away from us all hope of doing the job some of us used to like why should i pay for royalmails mistakes not forgetting the pensions which we are going to get shafted with as well ,working 5 years longer for what we should get at 60 then if we are lucky we might be able to draw a bit of what we have paid in before we DIE , before you know it it will be take a number and see what duty you do today or the good old face fits/ arse lickers get first choice is this what the flexable side of the so called deal is ,how far you can bend over and get shafted, RM arnt bothered about any of us they will replace us all with 20 to 25 hour contracts asap ,we have 5 so far in our D.O and plenty more to come so we are told........yeah great deal thanks union

Of course it's important you pillock - bank statements, hospital appointments, greetings cards, postcards from those who can afford to go on holiday, telegrams from the queen for wedding anniversary, centenary etc etc etc - there's also a load of crap but don't make the mistake in thinking our customers don't think their missives mean something.

thanks all for backing up the debate ! - night tonic has some strange thoughts , however freedom of speech and all that ! ! i would just like to say to all KEEP STRONG
