RM make a 2-3 million advert telling the public they must all have a mailbox on the edge of their property nearest the public access, i.e. road, path perimeter etc. This would be also one of those larger green plastic ones where the lock is left open and the postie simply lifts then clicks it locked.
Anything that doesn't need signature (99.5% of what letters and packets you have each day) simply goes in. No paths, gates and drives to traverse any more.
This means rounds could be increased from 4-600 calls to over 1000 unless rurals.

Don't forget that Moya was in charge at Canada Post when the idea of Communal Post Boxes was first floated. Now huge areas of Canada have no home delivery at all, although they have suspended the full implementation recently because of a change in Goverment.
