If she wants more money, she can do a few cut-offs in the afternoon at OPG rates. Or do Higson's old job as well for an extra £20 a week.

What friggin' planet to these overpaid overbloated executives live on ??? Not the one in which she should have been alert as to why her company was in a bloody dispute, or that bullying from managers was one of the major issues causing it problems. A £1.5m salary earner should have a least a semblance of what's going on! Brydon could get an Angard contract employee in to do Greene's job for much less, and increase shareholder dividends if he wasn't so busy grovelling to the executive gravy train brigade.

I know for a fact, i could f..k this company up just as well as she has.
It's a win win situation. The company saves money, and i get to meetsome of the greatest minds in the commercial sector :whistle

Well if she discouraged the bullying from managers she wouldn't be in the position she is in now, unfortunately I think it's going to get worse :no no

(Royal Mail chairman Donald Brydon) added “Part of Ofcom’s role [as regulator] is to make sure that the Universal Service Obligation is financially viable."

He makes a good point there. Sorry Moya, giving you a huge pay increase at this time would send the wrong message to the regulator :chuckle

Is it because she's a 'female' that she hasn't been made redundant? As RM workers and shareholders WE have a major say on who we want to run OUR company. Anyone but Moya. Mr Hohn will do our business a huge favour by ridding us of the 75% useless management. God bless you Crozier for that stat.

Ms Greene is credited with the radical transformation of Royal Mail from a loss-making state-owned business into a profitable FTSE 100 company.
It wasn't loss making at all.
The operating profit to march 2010 just before she started was £404 million, roughly similar to now, what made it appear loss making was the £260 million a year in extra pension contributions and the huge upfront costs of the sequencing machines.

Postal workers would make good managers as long they are educated, we can cut cost easily. One cut management and planners and Propaganda stuff and make the bonus scheme more fairly divided. Start earlier and reduce the necessary workload on Saturday to parcels and special delivery.
