Right thoughts, right words, right actions.
Tell that to a Line Manager.

The same ones trying to bully my colleagues into scabbing during the previous strikes.

But as Fish rightly said. It's not going to happen anyway.

Their bonuses are already pensionable. That was the reward they got to strikebreak during our last Industrial Action.

I suppose crossing a CMA picket line by CWU members comes down to peoples own principles.

If you believe that no picket line should be crossed, then you wont.
If you believe only some picket lines should be honoured then if you think you have a valid reason you'll cross.
If you can't bring yourself to support the managers because of their past actions then you'll cross.

Its ultimately a personal choice and although managers routinely cross our picket lines I will still not surrender my principles based on their actions. My sense of honour is based on my own actions, not others, and I will NEVER cross a picket line even if its manned by the minions of Satan.

However, I still think its a personal decision and I will respect, if not understand, why people would cross.

If the managers were to go on strike, wouldn't every office just be locked up for its duration so that no one could go in?

If the union ever did go on strike there would always be enough managers available that would cross their own picket line.

True. Won't even support themselves/each other that lot.
Just shows how truly short sighted they are.

On another note, could there not be an unofficial agreement (assuming they do strike :left: ) between the 2 unions to not cross the picket lines.
I'm not a fan of crossing picket lines, but I can fully understand peoples reluctance to observe a managers line if they fail to observe ours, we would be fighting for the same thing in all reality.

You are right UG. They crossed our picket line when we were striking over pension issues. The same pension scheme the managers were in.
