Don't think they use gympies now - I might be wrong though - there is a version of the SA80 used as a LMG and also a Minimi. I had to return for training when the new SA80 came in - though I was 42 or 43 at the time.

It's the sort of fantasy that is a reality in lots of third world countries - but it won't happen here.
SA80 is now called L85 and GPMGs are still used in RAF mainly SNCOs and Aircrew.

Cheers lads! I only remember the Browning 9mm and the SMG, which shows how old I am, but when it comes to taking on the bosses, I'd be happy enough with a handful of pepper and a billiard ball in a sock.

i also remember the browning 9mm,the smg 9mm,the bren,slr,charlie g,the sa80 nice site shame about the piece of shi/ they mounted it on
