NOT SURPRISED, THEY HAVE LOST THE PLOT, WHATS THE PROBLEM THEY ARE SO FAR APART YOU COULD DRIVE A FEW DOZEN BULLDOZERS BETWEEN THEM, DO THEY REALY THINK THEY CAN DO A DEAL, ONLY ONE THAT SCREWS US. THINK ITS TIME THE MEMBERS TOOK IT UPON THEMSELVES, IF WE ALLOW BILLY AND HIS CRONIES TO KEEP US AT ARMS LENGTH THEN WE CANT COMPLAIN WHEN WE ARE SHAFTED BIG TIME. DISGUSTED POSTIE :no no

This taken from an LTB dated the 12th September

"Our next steps will be to provide Branches with details of an action plan designed to cause Royal Mail maximum disruption should they continue to proceed without agreement this will also include campaign material. A further communication will be provided early next week. In the meantime any information coming to hand on this subject should be provided to the Outdoor dept without delay.

Any enquiries to Bob Gibson’s Office, quoting reference 160.01"

So No Bob - actually our next step is to offer Royal Mail even MORE time to bugger us about. Christ pass me the sick bucket!

It seems that the CWU are not listening to us so f*ck em we should all hand in our cards to send a message to the wan*ers at the top and then all sign up again once strike action and dates have been put in place. I am very close to telling the union to get lost.

It's very tempting, but I reckon we should stay in membership and just push to get those compliant bleeders at the top out.

the longer the cwu leave it to announce next strike dates the less support we will get. cwu had golden opportunity today to issue a strike date/s. if they leave it till next month then i feel the battle will have been lost

All was lost

Post by Mr. Auburger »

It seems to me that all was lost 5 or so weeks ago when the CWU agreed to suspend the strikes and talk.....The rolling action should have been continued and by now , this forum would have been talking about something else

Instead, we have suspended strikes , RM are using exec. action , and like Mr.alan johnstone , billy is getting a cabinet post

Or am I barking up the wrong tree ?

Got to admit, that is one of the crappist decisions I've seen in the IA, we should announce strikes and drag RM back to the table.

RM will only do anything when they think they are in for a kicking or made to look even worse than they do now, after seeing the proposals, the strike would surely be better supported.

Union membership = no voice too!

We always accuse Royal Mail of not listening to us. Well the Union are turning a deaf ear too. How many times are they going to be dragged in to Royal Mails ploys "we have been asked to put forward blah blah blah" - even the gorilla playing the drums on the cadbury advert would have a better understanding of what the game is and he actually looks intelligent!

I can't describe how pissed off I am about this. What is the problem with announcing strike dates and putting in a counter proposal?Have these clowns realised that they are supposed to be representing us? I fear for us all......

He needs to get elected as a MP first or get a peerage. Still all speculation at the moment.
