That's right! They know nothing about any of us and care even less. It's a big sham to try and give the impression they are 'caring employers' and as Tommo says "We're all in this together." We're not. Their interests are opposed to ours. I completely agree with you. We turn in to work, do the job, then go home.

I think the 'Our people' is intended to suggest kinship, a commonality of interest or perhaps rights of ownership

If thats their aim then its not working. Most people I know see it as an insult as they say we listen to OUR people but quiet obviously do not in practice.

I'm not falling for it.

"The working class and the employing class have nothing in common. There can be no peace so long as hunger and want are found among millions of the working people and the few, who make up the employing class, have all the good things of life.

Between these two classes a struggle must go on until the workers of the world organize as a class, take possession of the means of production, abolish the wage system, and live in harmony with the Earth."

-First two years was :lfo & :cfo trying to turn people against the CWU , chomping at the leash for a fight in 2003. Plan B was privatisation , Plan C was run everything down because they didn't get plan B & another go at plan A . As :lfo the self-styled manager for simplicity @ Asda said it's not rocket science as he tries to tell us all in his crap ghostwritten books and "lecture" tours.

I still don't understand how they can compare OUR jobs
with those of the competition, when they are completely
different. I don't see TNT or DHL delivering letters to 500+
houses everyday, I only see them when they want directions!

What about :cfo, if we compare his pay to that of the 'competitions'
I bet he is about 60% overpaid.

'Our people'? Who are they referring to? They keep using this term, and I have no idea who or what they mean by it. I can only assume they mean the brainwashed office boys who somehow imagine they are 'managers'.
Totally agree with comments. This statement is just another example of leighton and co patronising Royal Mail employees. Won't be holding my breath waiting for management to ask my opinions over the next few days!

THE VAST MAJORITY ARE THE 77% :lfo

That's four messages. One saying ... and the other three having a dig at the union. Here's another shiny arse missing Hellfail!
