These Angard staff are being jerked around and have no-one to speak for them. If ever a group of workers needed to join together and collectively fight for their rights, it's the Angard lot. Forming a union of their own is not practical, so the CWU is their only option. We all moan about the CWU (me included), but you're being a bit smug there demon. If some of Moya's 'big changes for 2012' involve you losing your job, you could very easily find yourself in a job where you are jerked around by your new employer. Try looking at the bigger picture :no no

I agree don't fall for RM's games .....and too many swallow them hook line & sinker ....I've been a Cassie too , then got a non substantive AG contract , then eventually substantive . I used to be a bit ? bitter & twisted as I'd worked for agencies and had to flog my guts out and put ridiculously long hours in for dodgy outfits ...........................................I'd see full time staff , and think I'd love those old soldiers to be put out to grass , they wouldn't last five minutes with some parcel firms , the most they could do is be security guards etc .........then I got cynical as to how RM really operate and nobody , repeat nobody is immune , managers , lifers ....whatever :vcfo :ncfo

I can also remember non substantive AG's being warned by a " colourful " David Brent style character that if we went on strike , our contracts would be terminated ...OK he was only parroting off what the alkie SM told him to say , who in turn was under orders from on high ......Dave Ward condemned it as disgraceful bullying ....it was illegal and would have never stood up in court , RM didn't care , they operate on the very edge of the law at the very best and their Snr Mgrs put perverse interpretations on matters ....but who'd want the hassle of taking on a firm that thinks it can do what it likes ....in Civvy St ? :hmmmm

I've since left on medical grounds but like many others ...you can read RM like an open book ...things never change ...in fact it just gets worse

Its only customer is the Royal Mail. It is not really an agency. It is a subsiduary or Royal Mail.

the corporate long arm quite common and very George Orwell 1984 " Truth is lies " ....come any controversy re sell offs RM will just blame Reed .....when in actuality everything stinks of RM and it's underhand machinations
