It's an argument that we strangely don't seem to be winning and the press and tree huggers seem to be very quiet on it..
For instance my office will double and possibly a bit more it's amount of vans with this new agreement,go figure.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

That's because the argument is not as simple an argument as people would like.
The vans you have right now(firms,packets and conveyance) are mobile and polluting for the majority of the delivery span.
The park&loop vans maybe move and pollute for 40-50mins of a 4.15 delivery.
Bikes only have zero pollution if they leave the office with everything....how long is it since that happened.

Na,just doing both types of duties in my head,my one now and my possible P&L,mixing it all together there will be 'possible slightly' less per van and i'm being generous,but again you have the extra vans.
