Communication Workers Union representative for Edinburgh Gary Clark, who works as a postie at Comely Bank, said the huge haul of mail at the Sighthill central hub had missed its delivery target by around two days. Speaking on behalf of the union
was he really?
Do you know Gary?
If you do you will know that he opposed this deal as he did with P&M2007.
He is a decent bloke in my opinion...there are others at Scotland No2 that i couldn't say the same about.

whether i know him or not matters not
My point is,was he speaking for the union?

When you say union do you mean members or HQ?
Knowing Gary i think it would more likely be members.
I don't think he used the words "teething problems" once. :chuckle
He said 2.5million items and Royal Mail immediately denied it so he will probably get his arse kicked for not singing from the same hymm sheet....joint comms and all that pish.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

Agree with the article in the evening news.It is total chaos at the mail centre at the moment. There is no room in the APC due to the sheer amount of yorkies bursting with mail.It is a total shambles-even sorting special delivery items with normal mail!!The management do not have a clue.
