That Tolhurst is in denial. The 4mph thing is in black and white in front of him and he still denies it.

The biggest scandal though, and they didn't push it too much is the deliberate fixing of the traffic figures, that has the biggest impact on our jobs in my opinion.

Good but the super fit marine didn't take into consideration having to knock on peoples doors and wait for them to answer.

Or checking that you had right bundle, looking for packets, writing out 739s etc etc

but even though he didnt take this into account - he STILL said he wouldnt be able to do this round 5 days a week. Shame on RM and shame on the plonker (Tolhurst) who still sat there saying it wasnt unreasonable!
I think the reporter was good - kinda shamed Tolhurst with his direct questions and i think would have made some of the public think the management are in the wrong.....just a shame it was on this Mon with so many people out xmas shopping!

Thought it was very good too. They should have had the marine carrying the 16kg bag like we do though, don't use trolleys at our office. Plus the round looked a lot flatter than the ones I cover.

Also good that when he intervieed that annoying postwoman (IMO) he made sure to say it was arranged and watched by RM. I wonder why she was chosen.
Also what a fat cow that proofreader woman was, nightmare. Union area rep did a sterling job though.

Yup fair play to Martin,he came across as a genuine guy,that kind of bloke does more for us than interviews by the CWU leaders,wonder what Harry Phibbs thought of it?

Was just thinking the same thing Looking forward seeing the customers tomorrow, think we'll have loads more support now. The stuff that was discussed is what I've been telling my customer already. They'll be saying to each other " Hey you know when that postman was boring us to death with all the s**t about Royal Mail, well he was actually right, still f***ing boring though don't get him started again".
