Early Shift... 0 strike breakers
Back Shift ... 2 strike breakers
Night Shift ... 1 strike breaker
Well done to all the members that took the time to actually turn up and picket,
And also a big THANK YOU to all the various workers etc that sent foodstuff and support to the lads and lassies on picket duty

Re: Solidarity reports
I've just come off the picket we had about 20 erics in which we've been told are sitting on thier arse's doing nothing, good turn out on the picket though.
I'd rather have Lockheed deliver the mail than ride around in a plane built by the post office

Re: Solidarity reports
I'm on strike today to because i want to RM to stay in the public sector. Customers don't realise that when privatised stamps will increase, parcels will increase everything will increase. The top management will be like bankers getting huge bonuses, the workers will get nowt (not even stamps). Our pension will be worse too. Post won't arrive till 2-5 pm. I bet customer swill think its second delivery.

Re: Solidarity reports
Out of 200 staff,40% in mostly part time. Not a suprise as our office is mostly PT,but still excellent considering we've had all the phase 3 changes implimented.
Seems the assistant DOM had a little disagreement with the union rep
But to be honest that DOM must have thought we'd all be in today after all we've done the changes and its a 'London' dispute, yeah right

Re: Solidarity reports
95% solid at Slough DO, great support from the public, much blowing of horns and waving, shame on the few spineless cretins who worked.

Re: Solidarity reports
Just back from ours at Sale D.O. - five went in out of 97 - good humoured orderly picket with support from area rep and public. Visits from and interviews with local press and radio who seem at last to be getting really interested in what lies behind it all - apparently the truth is now more interesting than the spin !!!
Two managers from Wolverhampton turned up to work and there wasn't any - so they went back - I wonder how much that cost ?

Re: Picket lines
Just got back 15 went in out of about 60, about 10 on the picket line. Plenty of horns blown in support, packet of biscuits bought us and the local deli brought out a tray of hot dogs for us.
