Puppetmaster wrote:I started reading the story in the mail, and made allowances for a nmber of things ,then the bit where the wind took her letter out of her hands and in the sea and how a boat came and fished it out of the water. All this and she completed on time ?

After that I stopped reading this Fictional account ,Borough Pat seems quite realistic though !
:Very Happy Funny you should mention that - I was looking on you tube for it after reading the triumphs of Tess, thinking how much more inventive Boro Pat was, because when she fell asleep in that gateway I wondered if she'd been reading her script.

National strike brewing over T&Cs and Phase 4 and a Story about how easy and rewarding being a postie is.

Of course there is no connection I'm just cynical.

Of course there is the other side of the coin, loads of high flyers on the dole looking for gainful employment - what better opportunity to downsize the salary than take a part time job at RM and it's fun.

Better yet - why not become a buying manager for body shop, expense account, large salary, house husband, international travel etc etc and then write a series of stories on how you have fared for the first year - you know anecdotal asides on how the air hostess spilled champagne coctail on your christian dior business suit, dropped peanuts in your jimmy choos, served cold food and joined that select club 27000 feet over dubai - who knows this could be the start of another JK Rowling :whistle
