well can you believe it twice in as many days the fanatics have run off at the mouth about how its all royal mails fault ,yet with a simple grasp of english you failed to spot it didnt say he was working ..

shame again on you for being so singularly narrow minded.

but when have you ever needed fact to base your assumptions :d'oh!
Shame on me? I have pointed out it was only 0.08 miles from the DO and on a Sunday as well.

I am hardly a fanatic being a CMA grade who flies a desk in a support function, there are some strong views on here mainly CWU but I find it useful to get to read them and I do not hide the fact I am a Manager unlike some on here.

This forum is what it is, the choice is yours to read it, but what is the point in getting angry about what is an open discussion forum, you can have a go at other posters for not having a simple grasp of English but this happened on a Sunday which you have to admit even you failed to spot.

Stop the SHOUTING, enjoy the different points of view and use this forum to learn what is important to others that you would otherwise have no contact with.

for another example of there prejudices go read royal mail manager accident

ps you also pointed out that he was 0.8 miles from his do but you as well assumed wrongly that he was working,it was i who pointed out that being a postman doesn't mean he was doing the job.
You are quite right about me assuming that the Postie was working at the time. I based that assumption on the original Article, which was written in a way which (to me) implied that he was working at the time. I was wrong, and admitted it, when it was pointed out how close to the DO he was.

As for slating RM: I have said numerous times, that my only criticisms of RM, are because of the change in emphasis, from Service, to Business, and the way that they treat us. :evil/mad I have first hand experience of several incidents, involving both me, and my Collegues. :mad :evil/mad :arrrghhh

I am sorry for offending you, but I feel very passionately, that people should be treated AS people. Not statistics.

I know, that I sometimes go off "half cocked". But when I am wrong. I admit it. Can you say the same? :hmmmm

You aren't the only one who has Morals. The vast majority of people on here do. Our perception of events are often different. Hence the need for Sites like this. Where we can discuss the important issues, and hopefully learn from whatever mistakes we make. :hmmmm

I'm not perfect. no-one is, or ever has been.

Judging by the Article, I thought that he had been on a Delivery like that. This time I was wrong, and I have apologised for that. But even if it's only a 3 hour Delivery, it's still a long time without any Toilet facilities.

you will get any little thing blown up in the papers as the agenda is privatization . Happened in another service , 3/4 page in the local ass wipe for being up in front of the beak for drink driving , fair enough , the police were probably waiting for him , it is irresponsible , they did everything bar print his picture .

Management were OK with him , they knew the score and agenda .

The ideal scenario would be Postman leaps out of the park bushes in the afternoon in his dirty mac , frightens somebody's Maiden Aunt Joan witless , he gets caught , the Nationals get the Court Reports story out of some poxy local rag .

Of course private sector employees are all law abiding model citizens :funneh :funneh
