I will strike (always have) but I know for a fact many will not as they struggle to make ends meet by losing one days pay.

I have to agree one hundred percent, we can not afford not to take action....I've been trying to point out this to all those that have asked me why we're striking, and I hammer home the impact it'll have on their pensions, the way they work, the amount of time they spend with their families, the fact that they'll not be knowing from one day to the next what they'll be doing in the MC. Everyone on here has a duty to let the truth be known to our colleagues who are wavering and the fact that their very futures will be on the knfe edge if we lose. So the choice is losing a couple of days money or the very good chance of losing all your money permanently....Bit of a no brainer for me that one. I can't afford to go out, but I'll be buggered if I let the two at the top steam roller my life out of all recognistion..We work to live, not live to work.
We need to alienate the greedy muvaf uckas who undermine us for the OT.

Losing a days pay isn't easy for anyone, including people like ourselves who have a fighting spirit and will be back on the line in a few weeks.

I've had several people tell me they won't be striking and they think that they'll be immune once the axe man starts a swingin'...But I pointed out if I was in the mind set of :lfo and :cfo the ones who cross the ljne and non union members would be first in my sights...Simply because they've got no back up, it managed to wake some of the dummy's up
Friday the 5th through to tuesday 9th is a bold move. There is a risk some members will say fcuk that and go to work as normal especially those wavering and a small drift will turn into a flood. But giving RM Destroy your worklife balance flexible working plans then i dont see much choice but to strike.
