Residents in two Essex towns can expect postal delays today amid disruption at a sorting office.
Due to disruption at the Royal Mail sorting office in Braintree, services in Dunmow and Braintree can expect to be delayed today.
Affected postcodes are CM6, CM7 and CM77.
A notice on the Royal Mail website puts the disruption down to "high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors."
They have apologised for the inconvenience caused, and said they are taking concerns about deliveries seriously.
A Royal Mail spokesperson said: "We take concerns about deliveries seriously and are focused on improving performance for customers."
The company said 85% of First Class letters are delivered the next working day and 98.1% within three days. Across all letters, 93% are delivered on time and more than 99% within a week.
It said changes are continuing across its delivery operation to improve reliability and provide a better service for customers.
