Longlevens postman Andy Merriman and his 15-year-old son Lewis are preparing for the second of three fundraising cycle rides for Sue Ryder.
The pair will cycle an 86-mile route covering every hill in the Malverns before riding around Worcester.
Andy will take part dressed as Wonder Woman, while Lewis will dress as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.
The challenge follows a three-day ride from Longlevens to Woolacombe in memory of Andy’s dad, who was cared for at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice before his death last September.
Andy says the care his father and family received inspired him to raise as much money as possible for the charity.
A third and final ride is planned for September to mark the first anniversary of his dad’s death.
