RESIDENTS in areas of Kidderminster have been advised about 'disrupted' Royal Mail deliveries.
In an email sent to residents, Royal Mail said that deliveries in parts of the DY10, DY11, DY12, and DY14 postcode areas 'may be disrupted'.
According to Royal Mail, this disruption has been caused by 'resourcing issues' at the Kidderminster Delivery Office.
They said: "We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your understanding."
After being contacted by The Shuttle about the 'disrupted' deliveries, Royal Mail confirmed that it had made customers aware of potential 'temporary local delays in a small number of areas'.
Royal Mail also clarified that deliveries have not stopped, and not all residents in the highlighted postcode areas will be affected by the disruption.
A Royal Mail spokesperson said: "We provide this information proactively so customers are aware there may be some temporary local delays in a small number of areas.
"It does not mean deliveries have stopped or that all customers in those postcodes are affected, but some people may experience temporary delays while the local office works through short-term resourcing pressures."
