The Equality Act ensures that you are not treated unfairly because of your disability.

There are two points to consider, direct and indirect.

1. Would everyone who applied for a transfer be treated in the same way?

2. Is refusing your transfer (by forcing you to take a lesser contract) detrimentally affecting your health in a way that would not affect someone else in a similar position but without your issues. It's not whether it affects you but that it affects you more.

I suspect number one is a dead end so you would have to make a case for number two but like everything disability related it's a crap shoot.

There's very few sit-down duties in MCs these days, you need to be aware that any sit-down duties in MCs might already be spoken for with their own staff

Any job in a MC would be fine, I just want a change of environment.
