Stage warnings

Hi all, can anybody please tell me how long a stage 1 warning lasts for before it's cleared?? I thought it was 6 months but I have read somewhere it may be 12 months, can somebody clarify this please, thanks very much

It used to be 12. Fancy a couple of extra fortnights off, not a problem: Take em, safe in the knowledge you've only to go steady for 6 months after it's issued.

Its a rolling 6 months period. For e.g. you have an absence 6 months ago that did not incur a formal attendance review. You then have 6 months absent free but you then are absent the absence that did not incur a formal attendance review at that time but still extant will now be reintroduced and added to you recent absence and if totals more then 13 days you will be invited to an attendance review 1.
