Hi a friend wa loaned to another office for 8 months in that time they were not told about full time contract vacancies so missed out would have been made up.
Is it fair to demand missed travel expenses or to be made up to full time. The friend wasn't notified about them Going up on the board and also wasn't aware the office they were loaned to was a loan and wasn't their home office thanks

Not sure about the travel expenses, but he should of been informed of goings on in the office especially if he could of sign for a duty.

Yep grievance for not being made aware of duties and on the expenses.
But he needs to check his contract, does it name the office he will be based at. If it does, where will matter as it will affect both issues?
If there isn't a named office then he may have been taken on as an Area reserve (they had some a few years ago) and that may also affect both issues in that he wouldn't be entitled to mileage, and on duties being offered, he may have needed to apply for a transfer in.
In any case, I think this would be beyond the aegis of a regular rep, this would I think need an Area Rep to sort out.
