Two weeks into resign - people being moved off duties they signed for

I know that RM managers can put us any job they want but we just had a resign and already people are being moved off the duties they signed for. What is the guidance on this? Or is it just the case of the latest Royal Mail buzz word "OPERATIONAL NEEDS". If thats the case why not get rid of duty holders and just have an office of reserves

Seems another case for a disagreement to be lodged and the IR Framework to come into operation

I can understand staff being moved around in the event of staff sickness. For example, 2 drivers who regularly work together - and one of them being moved to accommodate a non-driver. But they should be asked first, rather than just assuming it's acceptable. In our office, the dom moved regular staff holders off their duty just to lapse the delivery - if that's "operational needs" then it's my "operational need" to work to time, including taking a loop or two off my own duty.
