Just a quick one. Is the delivery process still 2 minutes at a door when delivering a parcel / recorded delivery?

Successful attendance call - 25.6 seconds
Unsuccessful attendance call - 60.4 seconds

PDA Items
Successful attendance call (no signature) - 37.0 seconds
Successful attendance call (signature) - 52.9 seconds
Unsuccessful attendance call - 78.3 seconds

Jeez - sometimes a successful attendance call can take 3 minutes or more by the time they've heard the knock/bell at the second time, put the dog
away, got to the door, can't find the keys, gone back to get the keys, still can't find the keys, can you come round the back......

Unfortunately management don't apply common sense to scenarios like that.

78.3 seconds to try the address and determine no one's home, repeat at each next door neighbour and over the road, return to the address fill in 739 and complete the input on the PDA?
This short reply took longer type than it apparently takes to not deliver a parcel hmmmm.

depends on the PDA and if it is raining but managers cannot see that as they don't do the job anymore!

Is that when managers go out on deliveries and don't do any parcels/ doir knock items ?
