Hi. Can anyone tell me if RM & CWU are currently in talks about our pay rise (if any) for April 2016 and beyond? Thanks

Won't be long before we are on the same pay as lidl,Costa,Morrison's with them all putting up the wages to the living wage .

Yes we are approaching talks on Pay but I believe that the CWU will be pushing for a shorter working week.

I'm gonna save them the trouble of all those meetings - we won't get a pay rise as we are already paid 'really well for an unskilled job', we will get a shorter working week by taking our paid breaks away, the business and union will decide that to 'in order to facilitate good management of periods of sickness' we won't be paid for the first 3 days sick, seniority will be abolished as it discriminates against those who like to have a job for only 6 months and we don't have to pay a pension or sick pay to BUT we will have a 'really good' bonus scheme that we won't be allowed to know the details of ( but it will be really good) until the time it comes to pay out when we discover we are really all s**t at our jobs and our bonus ( that the union fought tooth and nail for) is 46p and we should be so grateful to the union for securing it our subs will go up

that said they will be in meetings for about a year anyway and we must not ask questions till they are ready to tell us

To be honest a SWW only means that you will do the same amount of work in a shorter space of time. struggling now dont need anymore

Very true Glenno,they will just rerun pegasus or whatever it is and adjust the settings to get a SWW.

one way of getting overtime then

Ofcom reckon we are overpaid, we would only get a SWW if our pay went down, they can keep any SWW if that was to be the case. I don't actually think we will get a rise next year.
