All branches have the right to request, and MUST be provided with recorded minutes of PEC and NEC meetings including VOTING RECORDS
Perhaps all branches should also request the minutes of RM/CWU talks since there is now agreement and the contents can not be deemed sensetive, the confidentiality period has expired.

Re: FULL DISCLOSURE
You could probably get minutes, and the votes for and against (eg 9 for 5 against), but you would never get a record of who voted for or against, and personally I think that is right. At any branch committee or postal group meeting, when there is a need for a vote, hands are counted and that decides the outcome, not who voted for or against. You could always approach a member from the executive committee and ask which way they went, and hope they would tell you, but there is nothing that i know of to say they have to tell you.BELIAL wrote:All branches have the right to request, and MUST be provided with recorded minutes of PEC and NEC meetings including VOTING RECORDS

The rule book states voting records, not a record of THE VOTE.
Whatever else the minutes should make things crystal clear.
Can't understand your point on approving secrecy ,this was no secret ballot , these are our representatives and as such are mandated / obligated to abide by the union rules and thus support improvement of our pay and conditions. Failure to disclose voting records would make a mockery of this representative process you may as well have elected Digby Jones
